When should I expect to see results?
When you start at The Gym w Fitbyalex you will see the scale drop 2-5lbs in just your first week. Within the first 30 days, you will have more energy, feel stronger, and see changes in your clothes. Within the first 10 weeks, ladies lose 2-5 inches around their waist, 10-20lbs, and improve health markers (A1C, cholestrol, Hbp) get into healthier ranges. Do I need to already be fit to join?
Not at all! Most of our members have not been exercising. We assess each new member’s fitness level with a 1-on-1 session. Then sessions are personalized to your goals and body’s needs. We also address any past injuries and current aches and pains and tailor your warm-ups and stretches to your body’s need to prevent injury and to move better. As you level up you can take on more challenging variants of the workout if you desire. Sign up today!
What makes Fitbyalex different from the other gyms near me?
We are a local women's only health and fitness training studio. We specialize helping women going through peri & post menopause (usually after 40) because what used to work in your 20s & 30s may not be what’s best in this stage in life. How many days per week should I attend?
If you’re a beginner and just starting out then 1-2 times per week will be enough to see results and allow you to adjust. You’ll be sore some days, so allow yourself recovery days between training sessions at first – over the course of the following months work up towards 2-3 days per week if you want to maximize! What should I expect in a session?
Each session is 35-45 minutes and led by expert coaches. Everyone has personalized warm-ups designed to their body’s needs, previous injuries, and current aches and pains. After your warm-up the coach will walk you through the workout, the movements, and the proper form. If anything feels uncomfortable or causes pain, we modify the exercise for you. During the workout, the coach will be guiding and providing instruction. At the end of each session, you will cool down and stretch with your personalized stretches to accelerate recovery and reduce potential injury. We offer an exciting, challenging and varied strength workouts which will keep it fun but also help you build strength, improve mobility, and speed up metabolism!
What is expected of me to see results?
Simple.
- Check off your personalized daily action steps (2 min per day)
- Show up to your scheduled sessions 1-2x per week. (60 min per week)
- Planning your meals for the week (15 min per week)
- Submit your weekly check-in form (5 min per week)
That's a total of 3 hours out of 168 hours a week that we need from you. We avoid perfection and only focus on progression.
How much is the investment?
Because every program is personalized, the investment varies based on your goals, schedule, challenges, and preferences. Clients begin with a 10-16 week foundational program, then transition into a affordable monthly membership to maintain or continue with results. Everything is included in our programs: training, nutrition guidance, accountability, and coaching.
